Frequently asked questions

Question: How many photos do we get? 

Answer: It depends on how long you hire me for. There are some other factors like how large your wedding party is or how large your family is. Is there a limitation on how many photos? Nope. I deliver and fully edit a full wedding collection of images minus blinks and misfires and our test images. This could range from 500 to 1500 photographs. 

Question:  Do we receive all the photo you take? 

Answer: No I cull out any photos which may be out of focus, people blinking in group photos, and duplicate images. 

Question: We don't want our photos shared on social media or promoted on your website.... is that ok?

Answer: I retain the copyright to images under my terms and conditions. But I respect if a client wishes to have their photographs strictly private. You need to inform me before or at the session otherwise I will share images on my social media platforms as per my T&Cs. 

Question: Can we shoot at multiple locations?

Answer: Yes, As long as we can get there in the time you have booked. 

Question: Is there any charges for the consultation ?

Answer: No there isn't.

Question: I have seen some photographs that I like and I have some ideas. Can I send them to you?

Answer: Yes no problems, please email them through. Wedding inspiration is always welcome.  

Question: I'm worried I've left it too late to book now, do you take last minute bookings?

Answer: If I'm available yes I do. Best to be on the safe side and book early.  

Question: I've decided that I want to change my photography package and add more hours, can I do this?

Answer: Sure not a problem.

Question: Do you have back-up gear?

Answer: Yes I do. For every wedding, event or shoot I bring two camera bodies, multiple lenses, memory cards and flashes. In the event of any unforseen technical difficulties, I'll still be able to shoot. 

Question: What happens if my wedding goes a little longer than the number of hours we booked you for?

Answer: No problems. I understand weddings don’t always go to plan so if extra hours are required on the day we will discuss and any extra hours will be added onto the final invoice. Extra hours are charged at $200 per hour. 

Question: What is the deposit and when do we pay the rest?

Answer: The deposit is 50% and you don't pay for the other half until your album is edited and ready to be uploaded 4-6 weeks after the wedding.

Question: Are there any hidden extra costs?

Answer: No, what I quote you is what it costs. 

Question: How long does it take to receive my wedding photographs?

Answer: Turnaround times can differ but typically I work to deliver newlyweds their final album 4-6 weeks after the wedding and once the final payment is made. 

Question: My wedding is not in Kalgoorlie, will you travel? 

Answer: Absolutely! We can negotiate rates based on the destination. 

Question: Do you provide wedding albums or prints?

Answer: No sorry I don’t offer this service. I do recommend using Black Crow Studios in Kalgoorlie.
